Picturesquely situated on the banks of the Upper Saale River, the former Reuss residence of Burgk
Castle not only houses historic living quarters and showrooms with precious interiors, but is also a
cultural center of eastern Thuringia with its collections, exhibitions, concerts, and festivals, and is
considered one of the most charming castles in central Germany.
